This is definitely one of their bests, and good to hear the perspective of a player who actually played in multiple eras and dealt with the different rule changes/playing styles instead of just conjecture.

Exactly, Vince really played in 3 eras of NBA basketball. I trust his opinion over 99% of anyone else's concerning comparison between the 90's and now including other former players.

I thought they were gonna be the 2000s version of Jordan and Pippen. Vince was the man back then and T-Mac looked like a young Pippen. Kids nowadays don't know that in Toronto he was mainly known for his defense. nikkas didn't know T-Mac could be an elite scorer till he got to Orlando.

If both stayed healthy, we would be talking about them as top 10-15 players of all-time.

It’s always great to hear great players like Vince be able to breakdown the differences in the eras and not hate. Sports media has become a waste, I hope when he retires he can get on one of these shows and actually keep his same views.
