Kendrick said that when he was recording with Em, he felt like he was testing him to see if he was writing his own shyt. He made everybody that came Kendrick sit in the lobby

Cause Em came from a time where lyricists were highly respected, and he must've been hip to a lot of the newer rappers having help. If anything, one could say that the Eminem collab is proof that Kendrick really does write his shyt.

It doesn't have anything to do with newer rappers. Even during the period where lyricists were highly respected, artists still had help because they wanted that respect even if it they had to buy it. That's why it isn't far fetched that Eminem would want to watch Kendrick write his own lyrics.

Vanilla Ice not being able to maintain his initial success had a lot to do with him being exposed for having ghostwriters. Between that and him having to answer an actual question on Arsenio, he fukked up his draw and then tried to go "gangsta".
