All-Nighters in college unappreciation thread

nothing about college is outrageously difficult it's just the worlds biggest time management course.

If you majoring in it you should LIKE it and therefore it shouldn't really be hard. With that said.







Do you work earlier, breh I haven't pulled an all-nighter since freshman year.

I love these all nighters man. when you get old and start to reflect on your life you'll remember them.

nothing like going to the lounge area, tutorial room or library after work, putting on some good music to vibe to (I prefer Stevie and Marvin a lot during these sessions) and just getting to work. No distractions except other people of the same struggle also studying. People you can even talk to sometimes. Breaks here and there for the coli and you good.

And then the long walk back home where you can sing rap lyrics loud as hell with no one to be embarrassed in front of

I miss university...cant wait to go back after this internship :to


Only times i pull all nighters are group assignments and even then it was a particular group because we do all the work together using google docs in the same room and everything. Usually my all nighters were studying after work from like 10:PM to 3 or 4 AM

The best thing to happen to me in college is having to work to pay my tuition. That forced me to manage my time like an adult and actually study throughout the year instead of only at test time.

is it me or does working actually make you use your spare time that much more efficiently. I worked in the on campus restaurant thing for freshmen so it was real fast paced and got m juices flowing through the day. When it came time to study after work i was as opposed to all because I did nothing but watch TV all day.

I used to love it. For some reason my creative juices wouldn't flow unless I was under pressure. I'd sit on a paper for weeks just trying to figure out how I wanted to approach and could never come up with anything. So then I'd pull an all-nighter posting on SOHH, listening to music, and usually like an hour or two before the paper was due an idea would hit me and I'd just hammer the shyt out. Usually finish like 20 minutes before class, run downstairs to print it out and get that shyt in just in the nick of time. I wouldn't even proofread it or even review it to make sure it made sense. Came back to bite me once when a cuss word slipped through on one paper. Rarely got anything less than a B+ doing that too. I seriously do miss that now.

Here's what was dumb about me. I worked in a fukking computer lab and would still procrastinate even though I was essentially getting paid to study.
