Showtime To Re-Air Mayweather-Berto, Martinez-Salido II

As has often been the case with its major Pay-Per-View events, Showtime confirmed the news of offering an exclusive rebroadcast of Floyd Mayweather's 12-round win over Andre Berto from Saturday evening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The Showtime PPV headliner was announced as the last-ever fight in Mayweather's incredible career. Fans will get to relive it—or watch for the first time, for those who didn't watch live—on Saturday, September 19.

The exact time of the broadcast has yet to be announced, but will feature two more treats.

Included will be the epilogue installment of All Access: Mayweather vs. Berto, Showtime's documentary-style boxing reality series dedicated towards pre-fight build-up and post-fight wrap-up.

A move that is not as common is the cable network also rebroadcasting the evening's chief support, a savage 12-round slugfest between Roman Martinez and Orlando Salido. The pair of super featherweights fought to a split decision draw in an epic rematch to their first fight in April.

Both fights are regarded as high among the best of the year, with many believing Saturday's sequel outdid the original. The feat now lands Salido in three straight Fight of the Year candidates, the first coming in an 11th round knockout of Terdsak Kokietgym last September, with seven total knockdowns between the two fighters before Salido closed to the show to claim the super featherweight title.

The battle-tested Mexican warrior conceded the crown in his first attempted defense, dropping a decision to Martinez this past April in Puerto Rico.

salido just does not know how to be in a bad fight..im all for that rematch being aired but jack-groves needs to be reaired as well...that fight was also better than the main event
