What is the context of the very, very tiny GM of 205 Live now managing a super heavyweight tag team on Raw?

The latest RAW thread had more replies than it's had in the last several weeks and the fact that the weekly RAW threads are consistently the most active threads in the forum show that yes, people will be back next week.

It shows that WWE is the most popular wrestling promotion, which is obvious, and that this week it garnered more attention than in a long time. And I'm not saying no one comes back every week, but that number has clearly went down this year in TSC.

I read and watch y'all reviews more than I watch the product. Last WWE show I watched was the NXT takerover and that was because I have a history with that and it got good reviews. I only could stomach RAW because of the live threads but those fell off too so I decided instead of deriding a show I haven't enjoyed in years to catch up on shows I do like.

Live in peak tv era and never miss an episode of RAW brehs :hhh:. I don't care for a lot of the goofy indy shyt myself either and I do feel it's a contradiction that the same crowd who complains endlessly about WWE are the same people who go "you take wrestling too seriously" when defending whatever goofy sequence was performed at an indy show.

I love how the narrative still is "BUT YOU KEEP WATCHING EVERY WEEEEKKK :damn: :umad: "

When the reality is TSC has never been less engaged with the WWE product and TV threads are ghost towns for the most part. There's hardly any threads after a show is over talking about what happened - in a positive or negative manner - this thread is one of the few, and it was mainly done to compare it to All In in a way that a lot of people (myself included) don't agree with.

BUT Y'ALL WILL COME BACK NEXT WEEK THOUGH

I'm not sure how easing Hulk back into the picture wasn't the final straw for dudes. Haven't watched since that bullshyt and I don't miss it.

Same, I have no interest in watching it. I don't know if I'm getting older, but there's a corniness to WWE that I can't stomach. But All In felt just as boring to me when I caught glimpses of it Saturday night. Maybe it's just me.

Most of it be trolling, ass pics, and discussions about food over City Pop tunes:wow:. Beyond that, honestly the Raw/Smackdown threads would be a abandoned house with one or two dudes trying to cook something on the broken oven:ld:

lol i'm sure it's gonna get me some criticism or at the least i'll be dapless. But you've got a point, OP. For the record I think the Joey Ryan dikk stuff is goofy shyt, and is just a part of the indies that I give the Heisman to. I don't hate it, I heard about it on forums (I know its been supplemented by Being the Elite eps for instance) but I don't see it out. Hopefully I explain this well...

There's a difference between something being fukking ridiculous, but setting up and adhering to its own rules...and something being less ridiculous and breaking its own internal logic within the storyline. Or having something come out of nowhere with no setup. It's why Becky Lynch being a heel and shytting on the audience makes no sense and stands out as illogical, but Taker shooting lighting from his fingers is something ppl let pass.

Sadly...the Adam Page/Joey Ryan stuff actually...set this ridiculousness up. Whether you like it or not, is kinda besides the point here. They set the stage for a goofy comedy feud with dikk powers and "death". Whereas on Raw, a lot of stuff came out of left field and didn't correspond with the "reality" set up if you were paying attention.

TL;DR Raw especially struggles from consistency with character motivations, personalities and continuity. This....dikk fukkery, for better or worse has been crafted to be tighter...storytelling *groan* within its pocket of batshyt ridiculousness.

10 minute highlight vids >>>>. Bless your hearts if you’re actually watching full Raw episodes. Shout out to y’all with the gifs though. Botch Mode had me crying with her suicide dives :laff::laff::laff:
I read the results on Reddit, gifs and vids, like Brie trying to get more concussions than D-Bry in one segment.

When I read the latest recap, I thought I was getting pranked at first, it was pretty jarring.
like I watch most of this shyt w my lady and I couldn't even explain that shyt :gucci: you mean i need to watch 100+ episodes of some online show to get this :gucci:

nah im good fam. :hubie:
I've never watched an entire episode of Being The Elite, just followed the meta commentary and knew a couple of the memes.

It's tongue-in-cheek and a fukk you to Jim Cornette in many ways, I gathered that much.

I figured more people would be wondering why a dog got one of the biggest pops of that night.

Same here. They're not getting a dollar or view from me for a very long time.

Hulk even spoke out of his ass already, they should have halted their experiment then.

This is a good summary. It's been a very long time since I've watched an entire Raw show. I tapped out way back after realizing how predictable it got from one show to the next. There's no need for me at all to sit down and watch even passively cause out of 3 hours, you're inclined to see upwards of 25 minutes of something truly worthwhile (I'll saw a very good 15+ minute match & 1 or 2 unintentionally funny segments). The WWE as a whole simply just isn't interesting anymore, which sucks cause there's a lot of talent there.

Like dude above said.....all wrestling is ultimately ridiculous. All we, as diehard wrestling fans, are asking for is continuity.

Yeah...alot of the indy shyt is silly....but at least the indy sh!t usually connects/builds to something else.

I would go as far as to say most complaints aren't about WWE as a whole but mainly just about RAW. SD! is a decent show that generally connects the dots with solid execution. Most internet types love NXT. And WWE might have the best female ringwork out of the big 4 in the states(WWE, Impact, ROH, LU).

I don't think us internet/pro-indy folks are nearly as negative about WWE as some of yall say. We mainly just shyt on RAW. And if we didn't watch RAW/WWE, yall would just hit us with the "You Indy nerds don't even really watch WWE...so how would you know if the product is stale or not??".

We can't win.

you dont know why an arena full of cacs would love a dog more than the wrestlers :comeon:

I didn't know what was going on and if this is how they planning on getting more eyes on the show then :hubie:

Nah. This is the real world equivalent of TSC......

*Goes to famous seafood restaurant that is way past it's prime when it comes to quality*

*Eats dinner*

TSC - This food is terrible! Perhaps the worst it's been in some time! :scust:

*Goes home and develops food poisoning*

*Returns next week*

*Eats dinner*

TSC - This food is even worse than last time! And the food I ate last time gave me food poisoning! :scusthov:

*Goes home and develops food poisoning*

*While home sick from work reads news article on how black workers at this restaurant are paid 30% less than their white counterparts and are only 5% of the management

staff despite being 45% of the total employees*

TSC - This outrageous! I'm black too! fukk this company! :pacspit:

*Returns next week*

*Eats dinner*

TSC - This shyt is HORRIBLE! This is the WORST dinner I've ever had here. There's human feces in my oysters! No wonder I've been getting sick! :picard:

*Goes home and develops food poisoning*

*While off a third week due to illness discusses with a friend (who also eats dinner at the restaurant each week) about a rival seafood eatery with better food that has an ad campaign taking aim at their restaurant's terrible, unsanitary cuisine*

TSC - How corny of them.

TSC Friend - Yeah, trying to capitalize on the current anti large chain culture. fukking mom and pop hippies. *Regurgitates contaminated oyster remains*

TSC - Oh yeah, did you hear about the unqualified blondes they hired as head chefs? One of them doesn't use ANY seasoning in her food!

TSC Friend - I did! And they moved three of the best chefs to work in the accounting department. That food is going to be worse than ever!

*Returns next week*

*Eats dinner*

Get the message? Now it's not entirely accurate because TSC and friend are only going once per week and not twice per week and on one Sunday per month for "special occasions."
