The impact of this album cannot be overstated. A true classic.

I once saw it at a store for $40 and the people working there were like yeah it's always sold out so ppl b paying whatever to get it so we gonna get ours off it. Obviously this was the pre-MP3 era.

6mill sold in 6 months. Diamond status now. Plans were to make a video for pretty much every song to keep sales rolling.

Even Bad Boy stans/Pac haters at my high school were bumping Ambitionz Az A Ridah.

yeah all 3 albums matw, all eyes on me , 7 day are amazing albums 3 back to back classics All eyes on me is proberly the best but 2 ov my fav pac songs are on the other albums ( me againest the world , to live and die in l.a )..... Pac was on top ov the world in 96 as far as this music -tip goes ... I wunder had pac survived and not gone back to prison what 97 would have a waited him makaveli records / deathrow east / one nation album ... Biggies album coming out that year also pretty tough competing would have been going down ....
And thug life makes 4

One of the dope marketing strategies I peeped was how Pac shyts on Biggie in the media to hype up the album leaving people thinking he would talk about Biggie on the album(The only reason i bought it first week it dropped) Only for him to not mention Biggie once.....Then later down the line drop the popular single version of California Love with the Biggie diss....so now u have to go back to the store to give Pac more money. Great marketing strategy.
