Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page turned down WWE offers in order to be a part of the new All Elite Wrestling promotion, headed by Jacksonville Jaguars co-owner Tony Khan. Triple H reportedly had worked hard and offered unique deals in hopes of signing all four, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. According to Meltzer, Page's deal was to work NXT for main roster money. Page was to have been pushed as one the top stars on the brand. WWE had a unique three-year deal for The Bucks planned, which would have been for the same amount of money as AJ Styles. This deal included having their Being The Elite show airing weekly on the WWE Network. It also had a unique six-month window that would have allowed them out of their contracts if they weren't happy. They held a 12 hour discussion with Triple H, and praised him for how things were being handled. Triple H loved the humor on Being The Elite reportedly.

That 6 month out is very interesting, but the E would then do whatever they want with the Bucks by the next day. At that point, they're locked in.

Interesting that MJF is still allowed to work in MLW. I'd like to see MLW work with other promotions like ROH, NWA, and AEW. Maybe this is a step in that direction.

If Jericho is doing AEW and still able to work with NJPW, that's gotta be Kenny's deal as well.

WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal explained why he's looking forward to Cody Rhodesand The Elite's new wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling, on his What A Rush Podcast this past week. Animal, being a nearly 40-year ring veteran, believes that he could assist AEW in developing their talent, especially the tag team division.

Animal believes that AEW will be special in how they present their product, giving fans a back-to-basics show that won't make promises they ultimately fail to fulfill.

"That's another show that, Cody being a part of ALL IN, they asked me to be on in the spring," Animal said. "And I don't know if that's going to be with the NWA or that's going to be with ELITE, but either way, I'll be excited to do that show, too. It's great to see a company opening that's going back to basics and doing what's right in pro wrestling. Giving the fans what they expect to see, not having to do a big ceremonial, 'We'll give you what you want to see!' and then do what we want to do anyway. This is really about what the fans need to see."

Animal hopes to join the growing roster of AEW and apply his lifelong knowledge of pro wrestling to better the brand that Khan and The Elite are premiering. Animal's accolades speak for themselves, having been a multi-time tag team champion in wrestling promotions all over the world and being inducted into the NWA, WWE, and Professional Wrestling Hall of Fames, respectively. Animal wants to give the knowledge back and create an outstanding tag team division with AEW.

"They got a great product and I think I'd help them enhance their product with my wrestling knowledge in the tag team industry especially, and I think I could be a good addition other than anything else," Animal stated.

Animal wants to be a part of it, they might make it :banderas:

This whole time I thought it was Cody who was the luckiest guy in the game to hitch his waggon to the BC/Elite wave, but it's actually Adam Page.

Yeah this whole Adam Page is going to be a superstar thing...i don't really get it :patrice:

Only thing that stands out about him is that shotgun lariat thing he does. Straight CAW status and he weirdly looks like 4 inches shorter than he should be :dwillhuh:

The flippy lariat that dudes have been doing since at LEAST EZ Money days?

The shooting star headbutt/shoulder block off the apron is literally the dumbest move going right now that is supposed to be taken seriously.

some of these people in this subforum are straight up gassing anything related to NJPW/Bullet Club/Elite. All of a sudden Adam Page is that nikka. :mjlol:LOL @ Adam Page being offered main roster money. Some people need to stop with these stories. If there was ever a sign that most of these rumors are just that little group of dudes telling carny fables it's Adam Page being offered main roster money. They literally don't need him in any capacity. :pachaha:
