This is by far the best way to get talent away from the WWE, this is finally the beginning of the end that “independent contractor” BS WWE got away with for decades. :salute: this is a game changer if this happens.:heh:
If nothing else this will be the one thing that gets remembered. It is huge.

Curious to see how they will deal with those that are PT/allowed to work other brands.

If Punk was 1-1 in UFC... I'd say do it.... but being that he's a BADLY 0-2. He needs to continue doing the smart thing and just stay out the spotlight. Just be a legend for as long as he can continue to do that.

A legend to the fans thats still chant his name

Martha

if he was 1-1 he'd have reason to continue his UFC career, since he's 0-2 he might as well come back cause Dana ain't tryna book his ass again anyway

wrestling fans will welcome back with open arms you act like they would shyt on him, there was just CM Punk chants on Raw last night :heh:

Ahhh, right, forgot he was there. Freshly flamed out and fired by WWE Scott Hall mind you, but he was still the biggest star.

So where do we place Cody as a star relative to him at that time? The Bucks? Let alone Jericho and Omega

Idk, I'd say for sure that Cody and The Bucks are hotter properties now than Hall was at the first TNA show, but that's to people who are already fans and watch non-WWE stuff. I can't imagine "Cody" and "The Young Bucks" move the needle to non-fans or people who haven't watched in years, although "the son of Dusty Rhodes" could probably get some looks from lapsed fans. Idk, do those Rolling Stones articles about The Bucks/Cody/Kenny actually get put into the magazines or are they online only?
