Why not focus on starting up first

Before you wanna start fukking with WWE from a parking lot

:mjlol:

This is what happens when you're gassed up to the heavens by neckbeards. Why not act like WWE doesn't exist? Literally just focus on your own shyt. If they are just trying to be the un-WWE, then they are just destined to fail. How they gone act like the don't need WWE but showing up to leach off what little WWE crowd will be there? :dead:

I just hope that Omega only doesn't seem to be a part of this yet because of contractual obligations to NJPW until his contract is up...

... because I'd hate to see him retain at WK.

Kind of reminds me of TNA if Panda Energy financed them from the beginning. Right down to the son of a former promoter starting it because of the lack of a strong #2. I just hope Cody doesn't Double J himself and win the title 20 times.

On a serious note, I don't see how any fan or wrestler could see this as a bad thing. Now Anthem/Impact, Sinclair/ROH, LU and MLW, on the other hand, should be shaking in their boots, since they all had talent on All In.

One question though, is Khan gonna pay Cody and The Bucks between now and the TV deal? I assume Page and Omega will still have bookings but those three seem to be totally engaged in this project.

ROH drawing significantly fewer people with the mostly the same crew as All In = All In guys can't draw what they thought is the dumbest logic. The indie wrestling audience is only so big, so when you have a giant one of a kind super show, of course that cannibalizes the audience for the rest of the shows in its wake. That ROH couldn't draw nearly as many people with a lot of the same talent speaks more to their trash product and promotion when The Young Bucks and Cody could sell out 10K with a corny Youtube show.

I wouldnt sign shyt til a tv deal was in place

According to the article I posted either in this thread or the Double or Nothing thread, the deals they are signing with people are hold deals that don't become vested until a TV deal is in place. I believe the only ones with guaranteed deals at the moment are Cody (who's the EVP of the company), the Bucks, and Page.

They will be able to compete with the UFC and WWE money wise?

Khan paid nearly a billion for two sports teams and is worth about $6.3 billion according to Forbes (McMahon is worth about $2.9 billion according the same site). He saved himself $700 million by pulling his offer to buy Wembley Stadium. If they spend it wisely, money won't be an issue.

Two things:

1) Agree 1000% that this can only be viewed as a good thing, especially if they are successful. It'll make the WWE to not be on cruise control and actually make changes to the show to be more competitive. I think this could ultimately be the death knell for Impact. Between them trying to sell the company to AEW and WWE, coupled with their voluntary move to the Backwoods Hick Channel, I find it hard to believe they are going to make it out of 2019 still in business. At best, they might be MLW.

2) As far as the TNA comparison, pretty different scenarios. Jeff Jarrett (and his father) started the company because WWE had no interest in him due to his departure in 99 and McMahon publicly fired/humiliated him on national television, which left him with nowhere to go. Also that Panda Energy/TNA deal put Dixie Carter, who had no experience in Professional Wrestling other than being a fan, as President of TNA.

I hope this new company truly invests in building new stars (people that actually look like stars), because if not I can't see this company succeeding. Respect to Cody and the Young Bucks, but I have personally have no interest in watching them as the faces of a rival company (that shyt ain't gonna work). If they truly want to be a successful company they basically have to do everything the WWE isn't doing. Most importantly, CREATE STARS!!! The stars you create is what gets the company's name over not vise versa. BUILD ANGLES/STORYLINES (regardless of where they are on the card everyone should be doing something. Everyone can be over if the writing/booking team has something for them regardless of minimal or stupid it is), CHARACTERS (every wrestler from the 80s and 90s had a well established character and you knew what they were about in and out the ring), DIVERSITY (sad thing about wwe is that this roster is probably their most ethnically diverse roster of all time, but you wouldn't know that because the main people being pushed are so vanilla :mjpls:(for GOD SAKES, can we please get a dominant black world champ already:snoop:)
Of course they should strive to be their own company and do what works for them and the times we live in, but to truly be successful all they would have to do is do all the things the WWE is not :yeshrug:
