I think he means in terms of reach now. AEW will be on national tv. On a big network. That’s a big deal. That immediately makes them the number 2 promotion in the world. The fact I don’t have stream to see them, or stay up late on a Friday or Saturday night, or hunt around my program guide for them is a huge deal. And that shyt matters to casual audiences who AEW will need of they want to be viable going forward

Yeah, but I wouldn't say TNA serves "no purpose" from a wrestler or fan perspective. Even though I don't watch them it's always great when you have more options.
