Just curious? What exactly are some of y’all even asking of them?

Cuz one moment it was “Creating a new company is a big deal and I hope they take their time to make sure they foundation is right and not make the mistakes TNA did behind the scenes....”

Now it’s “they need to be out there wresting at shows keeping their name out, they have no buzz...”

I remember people say the same shyt about All In leading up to it “this show is a few weeks away and it has no buzz, no one talking about it, it’s gonna flop”

Who is the no one y’all keep talking about or expecting more from?

Martha

I don't visit rasslin sites so I don't know the buzz there, but judging by TSC alone it seems like a lot of people are interested in AEW/Double Or Nothing. YouTube views for BTE and The Road to Double Or Nothing tell the same story. When I watched the latest BTE late last night, it had been up for only a few hours and was already closing in on 100k views. You can pretty much guarantee the majority of TSC will watch DoN one way or another.

Double Or Nothing looks really good in paper but I don't think anyone (including AEW) is going to have a good sense of what the company actually is about until they start doing TV.

Of course, if you already don't like the talent involved, I doubt your mind is going to change.

The company may end up being a disaster but I like the Elite guys and hope AEW is a success. US wrestling needs it (and so does NJPW so they can drop ROH :lolbron:).

You might remember people saying that for All In but that just wasn't the case. That thing was a different deal because not only was it a special event. It was a celebration of indy wrestling and kind of a culmination of the last 15+ years of the post WCW/ECW Era. Therefore the show was treated and booked as such.

Double or Nothing is more of a launching pad for AEW - All In was the success that made the promotion happen - and it's promotion has been very, very lazy. They don't have to cater to people like me, I'm not their target audience, but DoN doesn't even have hype between the reddit/Twitter/meme fanbase/culture. Which is insane when you think about the names that are on the show and that they sold out that building months ago.

They are basically waiting for the TV deal to give them the buzz they want, which is fine because it will give them huge buzz once they make it official. But it's an indictment on their promoting abilities that they are just letting this one go by so far.

People said the same things about TNA and then fast-forward in a short span they were doing close to 2 million viewers. AEW won't do that because TV is different now, cable cutting etc. but it should do well if it's on a big channel and it's promoted.

WWE Reportedly Interested In Signing Joey Ryan?
0

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, WWE could potentially be interested in signing popular independent wrestler, Joey Ryan.

According to the report, WWE has become interested in Ryan after he announced that he was a free agent due to be let out of his Lucha Underground contract. WWE apparently asked if he would move to Orlando to wrestle in WWE NXT before moving into a coaching position.

Whilst it is unknown if Ryan would take that deal, the report did note that he is very much expected to end up signing with All Elite Wrestling, but he is not under contract with them yet.

It was noted how Ryan earns more money on the indies than he would on an average NXT salary, and that if he was a little younger he would be more likely to take the deal with WWE.

Even Vince wanna bring dikk Suplex fukkery to the E.

In Saudi Arabia, Taker and his evil Druids vs Zoey Rye..... no ..... Zoe Rye..... no.... Zoe and his dikk druids

2 spots that will go over is Taker and his rope walk and Zoe giving him the his famous spot:pachaha:

WWE In Talks With Joey Ryan

Joey Ryan’s penis is very powerful. It can throw many men across the ring and do plenty of damage in the process. His powerful crotch can also withstand an assault from a chainsaw, but it looks like WWE might want those powers as well.

Ryan’s unique gimmick and skillset as the King Of Sleaze has often been thought of as the opposite of what WWE is looking for. However, you also never know what can happen next in pro wrestling.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has been in communication with Joey Ryan. He is now free from his Lucha Underground contract, but he hasn’t signed with AEW despite showing up in a number of Being The Elite videos. Therefore, WWE contacted him to inquire if he has any interest in relocating to Orlando when word got out about his free agency.

Ryan was not given an official offer as of earlier in the week but they contacted him after getting word he was a free agent when the word was out that he was let out of his LU contract, and asked if he was willing to move to Orlando, wrestle a few years there and then move into a coaching position.

It was noted that the feeling is that Joey Ryan’s income is far more than an NXT Superstar and at this stage in his career it wouldn’t be a wise move for him to make this change. Ryan also owns a home in LA that he was able to buy out-right with his indie wrestling earnings.

The fact is that WWE would certainly change Joey Ryan’s character. If he signed, he would be highly limited as well. Therefore, it’s not likely that he will be taking WWE up on the deal since they waited until he was a financial success on his own to offer him anything.

This shyt would be wild :mjlol:
