10. Kevin Owens

Now.... some folks came on strong in the latter part of the year..... but in comparison from Jan to Dec, I can see this list being fairly accurate.

Will be interesting to see what its gonna be in 2019

is that with Merch, endorsement,etc... included? :jbhmm: And do these include them Saudi checks?
But DB, Ronda, and Charlotte are all key figures going into 2019. :manny: We'll see.

Daniel Bryan WWE Merchandise Sales Reportedly Nonexistent Since Heel Turn

Daniel Bryan took off his Yes Movement side plates and replaced them with block letters as he proclaimed his old persona is dead. The New Daniel Bryan is now a heel drawing heat for caring about the environment and playing the role of someone passing out blame to everyone he sees.

Bryan sold a lot of merchandise as a babyface and his Yes t-shirts were extremely marketable. Now it seems that the Yes Fingers are simply used for any situation where the fans approve. However, they aren’t approving of Bryan anymore it seems.

“Since turning heel, Daniel Bryan’s merchandise doesn’t sell,” Brad Shepard said on Oh, You Didn’t Know

Merch money is a key to making extra income as a WWE Superstar. It makes sense that fewer people would want to buy merchandise for someone pointing a finger at them for killing the planet. Maybe if WWE would market some hemp t-shirts for Daniel Bryan it could be a marketable idea, but at this time Bryan might need to expect a much smaller royalty check due to his heel turn.

I think they'll do what every non-WWE company is doing: share talent with and from NJPW, CMLL, LU, Rev Pro/various UK indies, ROH, MLW, maybe Impact.

Was it Cody that said earlier this year that everyone needs to come together to battle "the machine"? I think so and I think that's smart. Every promotion should have a handful of exclusive special attractions and main eventers, but there is a lot to be gained by working together especially if you're trying to start up your own promotion.

I still don't think the Elite are officially done with ROH or NJPW as performers and definitely not as businessmen.

Rumor has it that their being paid by the guy backing them to "go dark" once they get through Wrestle Kingdom, before coming back with All In 2 as the start of AEW :manny:

Earlier this month, All Elite Wrestling applied for the trademark, "Fight for the Fallen," according to PWInsider. The trademark would apply to wrestling, music, iPPV, and various merchandising purposes. This is just one of many trademarks the group filed for, going back to last month. With contracts finishing up for Cody Rhodes, Young Bucks, and Adam Page, and the countdown nearing its end on Being the Elite, an announcement of their plans is expected in early January.

According to Meltzer there was a push from people there to sell Impact to AEW & it was turned down :jbhmm:

Sounds like Anthem finally figured out it's a lost cause between this & the meeting they had with WWE a few months back.
