I wonder what the reactions to this would be
Of course the entire country declares their lives matter because its known as a national tragedy and all flags nationwide are flown at half mast and there are network specials highlighting all the good things each individual cop did and how amazing they were, oh and of course the minor matter of justice/revenge for their deaths being carried out immediately when police made the call to kill their shooter with a military drone bomb. And everyone is completely fine with that.
Now compare that to what happens after black citizens are wrongly killed by police: More often than not its the exact opposite. The murdered's reputation is immediately attacked in an attempt to rationalize their death through old racist tropes and assumptions, while thousands spring to defend and support the killer, as if they were the ones enduring the trying situation of being rewarded with paid vacation time. The entire system is on their side and they almost always get away scott free, vindicated and emboldened to pull the trigger even faster next time. Oh and also a nice extra chunk of change from the gofundme set up to reward them for killing a black person and giving the racist shytheads of the world somebody to cheer for.
Theres about 100 more reasons the two are in no way analogous or even comparable, but lets start with that, shall we?
Peep some of the post in here tho
Why are people so stupid. I'm not black.....
