Remember that most of peterson's shots early on were fleet footed jabs, but danny was throwing power punches
what about great fighters that say dumb shyt all the time. like big george saying that TITO was gonna beat hopkins.Apparently we know more than Sugar Ray and Sugar Shane about boxing and movement
They called it great...the coli call it running and struggling
were your eyes shut when Lamont was running for seven rounds?Don't bring that in here playboy we got eyes.
Don't bring that in here playboy we got eyes.
were your eyes shut when Lamont was running for seven rounds?
did they only open when danny was getting that work in the last 2 rounds
did they miraculously mistake running like a bytch for outboxing someone?
Im jus sharing info to the fight breh
Some said Danny wasn't landing
You walk a fine line when you talk ring generalship, and that's where people have philosophical differences about what it means to control a round where neither guy is landing much. I had Lamont winning the first round because I thought he landed more and made Danny miss. For the next few rounds after that, Lamont left his offense behind and was just focusing on making Danny miss. And while Danny looked bad because he didn't cut the ring off and was swinging at air, he would catch Lamont with a few body shots on the way out and outland Lamont in whatever exchanges they did have. Lamont wasn't countering or jabbing enough to control the fight. Danny missed a lot, but he was pressing the action and trying to throw more punches. If Lamont got behind his jab more in those early rounds, instead of just making Danny miss, then he would've banked more of those rounds. Maybe on replay it'll seem different, but it looked like Lamont was avoiding exchanges, playing it safe so he wouldn't get rocked, and hoping Danny would get tired.effective aggression, clean punching, ring generalship, defense
Lamont's shots weren't often but when he did throw he would land vs. Danny wilding missing(effective aggression+ clean punching). Ring generalship, who was fighting whose fight? Who was following who the first half of the fight and not cutting off the ring? Who was getting backed up and walked down the 2nd half of the fight? Defense?
Help me understand brehs, I'm not seeing what you nikkas are seeing

it's comedy. with hererra danny was landing the "effective" head snapping punches. thats why he won. last night it was the other way around and giftset has absolutely nothing so they gotta say peterson was running. so how were danny's eye and nose busted open after the 3rd round?....did danny do it to himself?.....actually, with how wild he was punching I wouldn't be surprised.....dude was out there lookin like mike alvarado shadow boxing
all these excuses for danny, the early rounds were a toss up, but danny damn sure didn't win all of them
by the fifth around peterson was in control of the fight, danny could't get to him at all, he looked bad this entire fight
Danny won 5 rounds at the most and that's being generous to be answer
lamont landed the jab at will, around the 7th and 8th round peterson was walking danny down
