Anthony peterson confirms danny admitted defeat

A. Peterson: Danny Garcia Admitted Defeat To Lamont

There was much dejection that came from Lamont Peterson and his team after Peterson dropped a close twelve round majority decision to Danny Garcia in the Premier Boxing Champions main event on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. His brother, Anthony Peterson, feels that the decision should have been clear in the favor of his brother. “Basically Lamont Peterson showed up and showed out and beat Danny Garcia eight rounds to four,”

Peterson said to BoxingScene.com.” Plenty was made about the early rounds and how they played out. Peterson moved a lot early on forcing Garcia to chase and miss. All three judges scored five of the first six rounds for Garcia putting Peterson in a big hole. Peterson came on strong but many question if that push came just too late. His brother doesn’t with the assessment.

Following the conclusion of the fight, Anthony claims Garcia went over to Lamont and acknowledged him as the winner. “Hell no,” Peterson said. “Mayweather uses the ring all the damn time. So you telling me that style is only for Floyd Mayweather and not any other fighter? I’m just so irritating, boxing is so f***in ridiculous." "That’s two losses that boy got on his record, Herrera and now Lamont. Lamont just dominated this boy and Danny even told Lamont in his ear that he won. His handlers know, he knows, his fans know; that Danny Garcia lost the fight.

Danny is such a clown for that. to tell somebody flat out they won, then 30 seconds later tell the cameras he ran the whole fight. shyt really makes this whole shyt seem fixed from the jump. lamont never had a chance. the whole fight coulda went like rounds 11 & 12 and they still wouldn't have given it to him. this was a showcase fight for danny...they figured lamont was ruined but he came out in top form. and as we all know lamont at his best is on another level than danny...and that much was clear on saturday. Al haymon gotta be shakin his head too...he gave this chump 3 soft touches in a row and he still can't keep from getting exposed. at some point Al is gonna get fed up and just feed him to the sharks. it's like they keep expecting danny to flip that switch and be great but he never will be...he was basic before and he's basic now. i'm glad to see anthony peterson bring up that herrera loss too....everybody knows the truth about this kid. get ready for the move to 147 and 3 more tuneup fights....at least 1 of which i'm sure he'll need a little extra help. Gift is on borrowed time.

Going by Majority, at least 2 of the 3 Judges scored rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 for Danny Garcia & rounds 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 for Lamont Peterson.

Would've been a draw under majority rules:manny:

:whoa:

Now all of a sudden after the fight, Angel Garcia is hinting around that they may stay at 140:snoop:

The most viable option for Garcia now is to go to the welterweight class (147).

"I feel like I have to go up in weight," Garcia said immediately after the fight. "It's affecting my performance."

"I think that's the plan for the next fight," Angel Garcia echoed at the time.

But Angel's tone was different 2 hours later when asked what was next for the duo.

"The next thing for us is defending that title at 140," Angel Garcia said. "Danny's the champ at 140 pounds. [Going up to] 147 is something that Danny has been talking about, but he's the champion at 140. To me, we're not going to argue about it. He wants to move up, but right now, at this moment, he's the 140-pound champion."

It's not philosophical differences it's who is in charge.. You can be the ring general if you're not aggressive many counter punchers do this Danny did in the Herrera fight at times. We can easily simplify this by saying if you were in that ring who would you rather have been those 12 rounds. My answer is Peterson and so is Danny's :russ:

I'm going to need time stamps and receipts of when this was happening I had Danny winning 2 rounds in the first half and one in the 2nd half and I was scoring as it was happening in this very thread.

Lamont wasn't jabbing enough cool, him jabbing a bit vs Danny punching the ropes, it's not a hard choice on who to pick in that situation.

EXACTLY. These same Swiftset nikkas were in agreement with me when I scored Herrera for Danny but using the same style of scoring here none of them nikkas agree. :shaq2:
I had Herrera/Garcia a draw and I had Peterson/Garcia a draw too, based on the standard scoring system.

But if you score it using a better method, then Lamont won clearly. I say no one won the first 6 rounds. Then Lamont left his mark and won the 2nd half.

I score rounds by the minute and decide who won based on who won each exchange and each 30/60 second interval of the round. If you did it like that, there's rounds where Lamont took all 3 minutes and rounds where Danny wins by a hair. That's why the scoring system is flawed. On top of that, judges should be more inclined to have more 10-10 rounds if it's too close to call, like back in the day. If it was that way, then Lamont clearly won 4 or 5 and Danny only clearly won 1 or 2, with the rest being too close to call.

That's why I look beyond just wins and losses. It's a Loss on the books, but Lamont deserves all the praise he's getting and Danny lost the last bit of cred he had left from beating Matthysse.

Brolic... Alcoholics
Exactly.

What's the point of following someone around the ring (because you cant cut it off) swinging wildly and randomly...hitting air. How do you fix your mouth to say, "Yeah, Ima give that to the give that was missing all the punches (landing a few glancing blows) over the guy who was circling and peppering with the jab with some overhand rights mixed in, who by the way was landing the bigger shots, all the while dodging the other person's wild punches":dwillhuh:

Lamont was out there in the first 6 rounds like:

Even started to feel good and started dancing on him in the ring at one point in between jabs/footwork while Danny Garcia stood there looking at him like:

Because he couldnt cut off the ring:wow:

Sugar Ray and Shane says it was beautiful movement, but thecoli.com says it was running:manny:

You talk about preference abs I think about Chino/Floyd the first time or Roy/Tarver the first time.
