would bb work as a movie?

You mean a movie following the events of "BB", 2 episodes of "BB" aired as one 2 hour movie, or the entire series as a movie?

there cannot be any new characters or re imagining for Breaking Bad. This show was/is a classic and perfect in every detail

we wont see another show like this for quite some time

@hexagram23

the entire series-- as a 2hour+ movie .. new actors-- a sort of re-imagining.

Nah....not even at 3+ hours. You'd lose a lot of the subtle story details trying to compress 62 episodes of TV into 2-3 hours.

Maybe if the movie focused on season 1. You could show the bare bones version of Walt's first steps from square into drug dealer. It would be virtually impossible to show that level of character development over the course of one movie though.

What a bout a trilogy?

This could be a money pot

A trilogy on some "Lord of the Rings" directors cut shyt maybe....where each movie is 3+ hours long....but again, you'd have to cut a ton of shyt in the process. It's just virtually impossible to fit 62 eps into a handful of hours. Stephen Soderbergh said they should've shown "Granite State" and "Felina" as one 2 hour ep in theaters around the country....that would've been dope.

I heard El Corrido de Heisenberg (i think thats the official name of his song) en La Que Buena (spanish radio station in Los Angeles) today.

:banderas:

Probably "El Narcocorrido de Heisenberg" by Los Cuates de Sinaloa.
