He's the co-lead, if he dies it's not gonna be until the last ep.

That's like asking why didn't David Simon kill McNulty....or Bunk....or Lester....or Kima....or Daniels....or Landsman....or Prez....or Herc....or Carver....

Fred.

I don't agree with the need to kill Jesse at all....but this response is kinda :what:

The Wire could've survived the deaths of just about everyone on the list. Stringer was infinitely more integral to the shows story and popularity than Prez/Herc/Carver and just about anyone else on the show.

well then your bout to lose some money, u didnt hear dude in the car say 'dont forget the kid' after they killed andrea
Yeah they had to leave the kid alive to get Jesse to keep cooking for them. If they killed the kid they'd have no leverage to force him to cook. Keeping him alve too long is going to come back to fukk them.

The point wasn't those specific characters. The point was this show's entire cast is smaller than one faction (the police) of "The Wire".

So this show can't kill off....let's say a Stringer, and still have a Bubbles or a McNulty. Or a whole season hinged on a new character like Sobotka, or Carcetti.

So if they kill off a Stringer (Jesse) it has to be the end, or towards the end (Hank).

Lastly, I disagree. Stringer was more popular but Prez was integral to season 4. If you killed him off you'd have to rewrite large sections of season 4. And McNulty was about as close to a "main character" as you got on "The Wire".
