Geffri Maya eyed to star in All American spinoff
Interestingly, the series would not star one of the show’s regular cast members but rather a character introduced in season 2 who appeared in a recurring role.
Although plans are still in early development, The CW’s eyed All American spinoff is said to be centered around Geffri Maya’s character Simone Hicks, who was first introduced in season 2. Per TVLine, the series would look to follow Simone as she looks to further her education against the backdrop of a historically Black university.
Beyond Maya’s involvement, it is unclear whether the planned spinoff would feature any additional members of the cast or whether the network might eye any crossovers should they move forward with the show — similar to how they staged mini-crossovers between Riverdale and its spinoff Katy Keene.
Additional information is expected as we get closer to All American season 3 which premieres Monday, Jan. 18 on The CW.

Watching Season 1 now. The director should be fired. Yeah, you can say the script is bad but the timing is so bad with the way they say their lines. The predictable twist with the coach and son is terrible. But I will watch it because I'm bored. Hopefully, it picks up.

Well, I look forward to season 3. This is soap opera, Tyler Perry, bad hood movie, and football all mixed into one. My favorite part are the twists. The red herrings be the best parts. Please let Coop die. She needs to pay for all her mistakes that led to so many deaths, shootings, etc. Sorry, I don't wanna see an Olivia/Spencer romance. He gonna be too focused on football and neglect her. He dumps her and she will lose it.
I wished they could have found a way to keep Pac in this show though. He was a good villian.
