Above the fray.
Still seems weird not seeing them wearing the same outfit. They need to go back to the Alex Vanderpool era, cause they look like they're all doing laundry in this picture.

Just jokes, GREAT singing group. As was pointed out already, once you do sit down interviews airing out group business and drama, can't call people haters for commenting on what happened in the group.

Controversy and tension is what sells, so maybe the IG was intended to bring them buzz.

They didnā€™t have to do that though as the picture with the 4 of them alone would have done that considering it was 20 years in the making.

Again, in modern era of 24/7 social media and entertainment/gossip sites, controversial post may travel further than a post of a legacy group reunited.
Their fans are roughly the same age as them, they will care about the group reuniting. Others, including younger people may be drawn to the element of controversy.

Thatā€™s assuming younger people even know who they are and what transpired the past beef or even care to know.

There are entire YT channels and platforms who post regular content about legacy rap acts. 95% of the time, and the most viewed topics are about controversy and conflict.

Certain that many of the viewers weren't around for the prime of the artists, or aren't familiar with them, BUT will watch the segment because the title suggests beef and conflict.

About 10 will be posted here this week, roughly.

In this era, can't see it being much different for R&B acts.
