That's the problem - sequels aren't guaranteed. It's missing its payoff. It'd be like if Star Wars ended with Luke landing on Yavin. Movie felt like it's missing its third act

Someone is upset for no reason. Sequels in the last 15 years in cinema have been a constant thing even when no one asked for them. Hell there are reboots to reboots.

since you like shytting on RT...Mortal Engine's audience consensus is higher than critics...so audiences tended to like it, but that shyt ain't getting no sequel. It ended on a cliff hanger too and had some pretty great visuals

Alita is at 382 million WW so crossing 400 mill is very possible. After Blu-ray sales I'm sure it'll make more than enough to justify a sequel.
