twas the beat and production on that song that made it what it was worth. drake is corny his damn self. his lucky to have 40 in his corner :rudy:
Don't front like Drake don't have more proven R&B hits under his belt as written credits than you're willing to overlook here...and many of them without 40.

Yes, 40 did play a significant role in lacing that moment in time, but to overlook Drake's work lyrically AND with the harmonies AND even with his remix verse is absurd. He made that song from top to bottom. I'd be surprised if A. Keys even sees money off that.

man, drake is corny. his singin' = that of al. b sure. at least al b sure's non singin' ass (pause) had songs like "off on your on" and "nite and day". but al was still a non singin' act too. however drake ain't got 2 songs that fukk with those 2 of al b's. both still one in the same, just different generations.

drake songwritin' might be catchy and might even be nice to some for this era in and time when there's no bar that's sets high enough for people to even put a lot into the music they make but that brother is wack. straight up
the hype for drake is straight up ridiculous. his rappin' is average at best, damn nasal and whiny ass voice :camby:

drake's a better actor than he is rapper and singer, that's fo sho
