At first I was like how could this possible be true at all but then I remembered ain’t nothing really change after the war. If you couldn’t read, the segregation signs everywhere wouldn’t necessarily give you a sense of change.

Premise doesn't seem bad, as long as they get the percentages and timing right. Feels like if it was 25% slave movie 75% Django Unchained you've got a good movie.

Especially if the tone and style of the revenge plot is right
