Yo, I've been a big critic of Alex Smith for a long time, but he's actually ranked 5th in the league in pass yards per attempt.
He IS playing well now.
Plus I have Vernon Davis and Gore on my fantasy team.

Alex Smith a not a world beater but under Harbaugh, he has become a better QB. But I gotta give credit to our receivers too, I'm very happy with our lineup and I hope we can keep them for years. They are making good catches and getting YAC and that also helps with Alex Smith's numbers. If Alex can continue to make better reads and not hold on to the ball for too long there's no reason why we can't play championship football. I also like that he isn't overly relying on Vernon Davis too or I should say that Vernon is keyed on and he can't really.
Receivers make a world of difference, people shytted on Alex for that Giants game and the third down ineptitude, but in reality he had NO ONE to throw to.
They did a good job of turning the ball upfield yesterday. I think we can confidently say this team is better than the 2011 team, record aside at this point.
You have to love the weaponry on offense right now. So many playmakers, makes it so that an off day doesn't kill us

lol @ this nonsense...Alex Smith throws safe, pee wee league passes...sure 18-19 looks good and all that...but where are his 300 yard 3 td games? You cant find them because hes not that type of QB....he's a game manager, not a game winner...look what happened when he faced the Giants this year....SanFran isn't built to play from behind....should anyone get a lead on them, they're in trouble...top 5 QB my asss

My issue with you is you'll shyt on other QB's for the very same things you give Alex a pass for.
We have all these playmakers yet you shytted on Russell Wilson for doing less with more. You stated that the Seahawks had more playmakers than the 9ers.
