The Radio Shock Jock who many call a conspiracy theorist went on Piers Morgan to debate gun control and exploded on the host. Ironically his animated performance has caused fact checkers on many websites to admit he was correct on a lot of his points. The interview already has several of million views on Youtube.

The appearance gave Piers his highest rated show of his career on CNN and the following night the ratings went up more as Piers spent the whole show talking about Alex. Blogs and Websites all over the net have featured the interview and Mainstream Media from MSNBC and Fox News have done stories on it. Late Night Comedian Conan O'brain and shock jock Howard Stern have featured the story.

At least he brings up things that Americans should be talking about...whether you agree with him or not it's a fresh perspective compared to the same old garbage you get on CNN, FOX, or MSNBC.

Whats the definition of violent crime though? It could be something as little as a mugging and the victim got a punch to the face right?

Yes getting punched in the face would count as assault which would fall under violent crime. I wouldn't trivialize muggings by calling them little. It sounds dismissive like they're no big deal. I personally value the second amendment because I've escaped a potential mugging by being strapped. Who knows what would have happened to me if I wasn't carrying my pistol. I think a majority of the people calling for bans and restrictions have no experience with firearms. Getting educated and going to a range would take away the mystique that guns have. I think if more people did that they would realize a gun is just a tool not a killing machine like theyre being portrayed in the media.

Absofukkinglutely. Despite all his ranting and raving, Alex Jones actually touches on very important topics that the mainstream media wont even attempt to address. He may get a little kooky at times, but there is usually some good info in his news as well.
