aldon might get the record tho,
To be honest, I don't think he does as much as the first two either.
My whole stance though was this league puts such a premium on pass rush that if he sets the record there's a chance he`ll get a look for that award.

oh no doubt hell get mad consideration if he does set the record.
Yeah that's my whole point, right now he has the biggest "wow" stat out of all the contenders, and if he breaks the record, especially by more than 1 sack, he`ll really start to get consideration
As in unprecedented if he were not to win it?
That's what I was thinking, it's probably the most notable single-season defensive stat out there.
