Pretty sure they played a majority of the melodies on that Mc Eiht track to keep from having sample clearance issues. His album that came out right around the soundtrack had a ton of beats with a similar style. The band played the melody arrangement from Straight up Menace it sounds like.

everything else was sampled..

one thing about west coast artist..they got good ears and it will take decades for ppl to find the samples..
