Kind of a "safe list" but it's also not terrible. Voire Dire and Great Escape frankly don't belong on there, but they're newer and were critically acclaimed, so I get it. I also wouldn't put No Idols on there, but it's a blog era classic, so I get it. I'd have chosen 360 Waves or M1CS if they wanted another project from that era.

I'm seeing a lot of cats upset here that Lulu with Conway wasn't on there, but honestly it was only 6 songs so I'm not surprised. I feel like they went with full length projects only.

And low key I think Albert Einstein > Return of the Mac, but I also understand why they'd choose Mac. Covert Coup would be my #1, but Alfredo got all the Grammy attention, and I think that's why they put it there.

I also like Bo Jackson more than Tea in China, but I do think Tea in China is arguably the more cohesive "album experience".

My favourite ALC beat:

When it came out I’d play it at least 10 times a day loool

Funny enough this was really the first beat of his that made me a fan. A few of his earliest classics I either didn’t know he did them or the name just didn’t stick with me. This was the one where I went back and realized he was the guy that did keep it thoro, we gonna make it, the realest, and worst comes to worst.

He really laced infamous Mobb. Until we got return of the Mac, that infamous Mobb debut felt like the most alc beats we were gonna get on one single album

:wow:

Return Of The Mac would be my #1. I remember downloading on it off the internet and immediately being blown away by how incredible it was. The album revitalized Prodigy as he begun his transition into the underground and becoming a force in it. It was somewhat a return to form for him and Alchemist laced him with pure uncut dope. :wow:

Covert Coup would be #2....

Fetti would be #3

It puts in perspective that Curren$y has made his best music with Alchemist and I enjoyed The Pilot Talk series and his collabs with other producers but Spitta x ALC>>>!!

I’m glad to see No Idols on the list….that tape is criminally underrated.

The version of Wet Wipes on Chemistry Files had more of an intro to it. Was dope.
