You know what album i lightweight think is trash?

There's certainly serviceable tunes on it. Yawn. But I waited a LOOOOOONG time, no Pun. I got into an actual beef over this 3 mic album at a trade school in the city for being the voice of reason.

I'm probably one of the biggest Blu stans on here but NoYork! is terrible and I've legitimately had argument with fellow Blu fans about that album. Similarly to Kanye stans defending Yeezus, I was told that my mind wasn't open enough to enjoy the album.

Lasers is another album that I feel like the stans forced themselves to like. It literally had the same sort of production as B.O.B's first album.

I used to think that Drake fans were forcing themselves to like Take Care but after time has passed, I've come to accept that I'm clearly missing something with regards to Drake's discography. His music just screams "disposable' to me.

Its been well covered in this thread, but definitely Yeezus. Utter trash, backed to the hilt by stans who went on the offensive to anyone who did not grasp it as a masterpiece.

i kinda love a few joints off this though truth be told.

1 of the last albums i recently checked that i forced myself to like.
The beats on it are really dope though.

I knew people would say Yeezus because so many people can't stand it but i'm sorry - it's dope. I think most of Kanye's diehard fanbase love it when Kanye really takes things left.

Any album that is considered a "classic" will have some people "forcing" themselves to like. But as a stan - you don't need to be forced to like by definition - you are a massive fan of that artist.

On paper, it should have been a good album because I'm a fan of FlyLo, Samiyam, Dibia$e and Exile but the beats that Blu picked just didn't connect with me at all.

The LOX shyt is true :laff: The first hiphop forum I ever joined was Crack Muzik in 05 and they were hyping up We Are The Streets like it was Illmatic..I was seriously sitting there thinking I missed out on a classic.

Yeezus I think is beyond forcing. His stans are on a different level and were prepared to call it groundbreaking if it was silence the entire record.
