After T.R.O.Y (and prophet remix etc. etc.) a lot of producers copied Pete Rocks Hi-hats, even Q-Tip on "The world is yours" remix You could probably find 1000s of examples from 93-95
90% of the time, Pete's hi-hats were this song:



I think people just got hip to that song being a hi-hats cheat code.

I heard one of his album back in late 90's, shyt was some of the worst music I've ever heard. :hhh:

Straight Outta Compton waa the only nwa album out when Boomin words from hell dropped.

Of course they were an inspiration for him but not his acid rap style:yeshrug:


The only horrorcore song that pre dates boomin words from hell was the original Ghetto Boys Assassins from 87
