fukk the club up!
fukk the club up! (bytch!!!)

His flow on no bystanders is great. I don’t get the conspiracy. Travis is super transparent about his music. He will tell you he isn’t trying to be super lyrical. He makes great turn up music with stellar production. And there is an art to it. He is creative with it. Beats are fire. The hooks. Everything you can tell is thought out. I respect him because he ain’t faking it. He just out here trying to make you have fun. And that’s how hip hop started. Having fun.

On a GOAT scale, I'll take artistry over lyrical skill every day, if we talking lyrical over shyt beats etc. versus average lyrically over great production. Not everyone is gonna rap like GZA, Nas etc.

So as long as Travis writing his own shyt, and keeps producing albums/tapes of this calibre, he'll be in that GOAT convo eventually imo. People take the art of making great MUSIC (especially in hip-hop) for granted.

OK my thoughts from my time at Astroworld:

It's a pretty good album that kinda loses me towards the end but picks up with Coffee Bean. Like the album was a acid trip that turned into a typical trap album, but ended up on some 90s hip hop shyt. Overall, its one of those albums that I would bump once a blue moon but not on a regular rotation.

3.5/5 from me:ehh:

Only song I like is astroworld and that’s because of thundercat and Yosemite for the fire gunna chorus. The back end of this is still so ass. Why doesn’t this dude list features btw? He doesn’t want everyone to know how badly his albums are carried by features?

This is my first post in years, I’m just a lurker. I’m going to be straight up, I fukking love this album. I’ve listened to it multiple times since it’s release and I enjoy it more and more each time. I never really cared for Travis Scott, on my Spotify playlist I have a mash up of my favorite songs from Rodeo and Birds, but still never really fukked with dude. I saw the Stargazing trailer, and it immediately caught my attention. Album dropped, and was instantly hooked. I’m not checking for Travis Scott for lyrics and I’m sure we can agree on that. But this album “sounds” amazing, crisp, just well put together. In my opinion, a cohesive project. This project had a “theme”, as corny as it sounds, I felt like I was in a theme park at times. All the adlibs sounded great and fit perfectly. All the features were perfect. He picked the right artist for the right song I thought and placed them in the right spot throughout the songs.

The 3 songs I skip are Carousel (I’d like some feedback from y’all on what y’all think about this song), NC-17, and Who What.

The first 9 songs (except Carousel) i fukk with heavy. I won’t go into detail for each somg cause it’ll be too long of a read. But I have NOTHING bad to say about those songs.

I think the transition from Wake Up into 5% Tint is flawless.

No Bystanders when he says “in the 305 bytches treat me like I’m uncle Luke (and you hear Luke right after) gets me hyped as fukk cause I’m from Miami. I was out this past Friday night in wynwood and they dropped that song, place went nuts, what a great feeling.

The beat on astrothunder is amazing, wish it was longer

Yosemite is so smooth and Gunna kills his verse. Thank god they updated Nav’s verse. Whoever the guy is on the second half of can’t say KILLED IT.

Butterfly effect and Houstonfornication were great, love the beat on those two songs. Coffee Bean in my opinion was a perfect closer, felt like I was leaving the “theme park”. Nineteen85 laced that beat beautifully.

I’m about to cop tickets to his November concert, anyone ever been to one of his concerts? Are they good? What can I expect from the Astroworld concert y’all think?

I wish Travis Scott woulda finished and put this right after Butterfly Effect. It flows perfectly Album is still :blessed::wow:

shyt....:wow:

I also wish this song made the album

if you listen to Butterfly Effect on YouTube (the vevo vid version), you'll notice the beat from A Man fades into the song right at the start. I was hoping that would be included on the album
