Brolic... Alcoholics
You can hear the attention to detail.

Absolutely agree. From a production standpoint you can tell that he took his time. It's almost like this album has been in the works for a few years.

The music as far as lyrics go aren't very good to me but as far as production goes this shyt is light-years ahead of anything that's dropped this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if he walked away with a few Grammies for this one.

somewhere in southside
I liked the 90's Houston, Fat Pat, Screw, "like MAN", Three 6, Goodie Mob, etc etc references

Surprised how many reviewers and fans didn't catch the Goodie Mob sample.

And to add to that point about the samples and references, I find that a lot of people that don't like it are unfamiliar with what he's drawing from. I'm not a Travis stan by a long shot, but I do feel that I can better appreciate this project because I can understand this project. Either way, I really enjoy when an artist successfully pays homage and makes something new all at once.

I agree a hunnid percent

Uh... Maybe I'm not listening hard enough or maybe I'm just missing it but I ain't feeling this shyt.

Production is A1 no doubt but bruh ain't saying shyt. Again... Unless I'm missing it.

It's like one song is about sex another about doing exotic drugs and then another about flossing.

Then it's just kinda rinse and repeat.

Are his other two albums like this as well.
This nikka make music for demonic spirits

This was supposed to follow up Rodeo. Birds was supposed to be a holdover til this dropped but that took on a life of its own

Seemingly bragging one bar but still being aware he a black man next bar.

He’s not saying groundbreaking things. He is indeed saying sonething to me. I’m a black man, I talk my shyt sometimes, but I worked hard I feel like I can show off a bit lol.

That little "ooh ooooohhhhh" in the background at 1:33 is just :banderas:

Simple random shyt like that is why I fukks with his music. Just crazy attention to detail that gives it a replay value a lot of rap songs don't have

Agreed. The album is full of it. Im big on production so im usually listening for things like that.

Like 2:27-2:50 on RIP Screw is :whew:.
