Like most of Travis' music, the most interesting parts of this album have little to do with him as an artist. All the guest appearances are noteworthy, and much of the production is good. But Travis' contributions sound more like skeletons or reference track melodies for someone else. I still can't tell you who he is as an artist, outside of a studio chameleon.
everybody says this but tell me who makes the kind of music that he does? you can’t say that because he warbles like Swae lee or moans like cudi or whatever that the themes and vibes from his albums aren’t completely different. They are completely different. The irony here is that Travis has the whole rap game on astroworld but no other rapper actually makes that kind of music

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I love noisy, convoluted and over produced music.

Sonically right up my alley.

Listen to it for the production, guest features and the melodies.

You know what to expect when you're jammin' to this shiit.

You either a fan or you a flower.

Either way, we blossom with it.

Is Travis primed to be this era’s Kanye in terms of “innovative sound” and being cited as “Musical Genius”?
