Damn brehs i started this thread back in August 2016 when he made an announcement that he got new music droppin and made it seem like it was Victory Lap. He pump faked the hell out of us again :russ:

It ended up being Slauson Boy 2 which was a great mixtape

Shoutout to everybody that stayed around in this thread for almost 2 years til Victory Lap actually came out

Breh I low key was pissed at nip for that. Had been waiting for Vicotry Lap since fukking The Marathon Continues.

:russ: nikka used to fukk with our emotions. Remember late 2016 he announced new music and we thought it was Victory Lap again but he dropped a 5 song ep and we had heard 3 of the 5 songs already :russ:

That’s one of the saddest parts, ain’t no more nipsey anticipation and discussion thread coming, I mean, there will probably be more music, but not all the interviews, recording sessions and updates from Nip himself :to:

So much music in the stash too. He was already talking about what he could improve on from Victory Lap with his next album in that Rap Radar podcast :mjcry:

I remember when he was posting those anticipation clips on IG, a lot of those songs didn't even end up on Victory Lap

Loved that nikka man. Won’t be another. I wish life was the like the movies and nikkas can go back in time and prevent shyt from happening feel me? But I guess that’s the beauty of life. The fact that we don’t know what tomorrow brings. The idea that we can wake up and experience the best day of our lives or the worst day, No certainty, no warning. shyt just happens. And that’s that. All we can do is live every moment like it’s our last. But even then that’s difficult. we ourselves are the center of the universe, every thing we experience is from our point of view. Sometimes we live as if we’re invincible and above the bad. Why tell someone you care about em when you’ll see them tomorrow? but one day you won’t see them tomorrow. The majority of us will never know when that’ll be. when something terrible happens to another individual we skim past it like :huhldup: because it isn’t us. it hasn’t happened to us in our first person view. Im rambling but times like this just reminds me of my mortality as well as the mortality of those around me. that shyt scares me
