Yep. That's what always annoyed me so much about Punk... he thought he was entitled to being a tough guy and a fighter because he wanted to be. Doesn't matter what gear you put on or where you train. Some people just don't have it. He has balls, but zero athleticism.
What I was thinking when he wanted to do that. I know he's a tough guy, you have to be to last as long as he did in professional wrestling but there's a difference between being tough and being good at fighting.
Like you said he just wasn't athletic and was way to old and beat up to get anywhere even if he was.
