Hans... R.I.P.:mjcry:

Fun-fact: his performance in Die Hard is why playwright/stage actor Eric Bogosian signed on to play the villain in Under Siege 2, because he desperately wanted to do a role like that.:ehh:

Rest in strength and condolences to his loved ones. He may be remembered from die hard and Harry Potter, but my favorite role of his was in galaxy quest.

I was just listening to Tim Roth talk about how he was cast as Snape but didn't want to fly back and forth from America to London since he was filming planet of the apes at the time they were filming sorcerers stone. While it would've been great to see what he would've done with it, I can't imagine anyone else but Alan Rickman. Not only did he have the gravitas, and the look, but he was such a nuanced actor who understood subtlety and body language and how to use his face to convey what words didn't need to. Gruber is one of the greatest villains of all time mostly due to his portrayal. He's a legend and we seriously need to stomp out cancer man. We're losing too many lives to it on so many fronts. Brain cancer, stomach cancer, testicular cancer. And I've seen the firsthand effects of breast cancer and it's not fun. We spend so much time worrying about what other countries are doing and whether this person will attack us or this person will disrupt our economy, let's focus on trying to make the world healthier and cancer free. That's where a lot of our energy needs to go
you think they wana cure cancer?

they make much more money treating it :scusthov:
