Pratt got 3 flicks and they got worse with each sequel. Dude had his run but the casting for the what seems like co main character is wack.
This looks like Skull Island 2.0
They should have continued with Pratt.
We desperately need new franchisess. still getting sequesls to movies from the late 70s-mid 90sMan, the bar is so low. Lol. This could end up being mid and still be a major improvement over Dominon. Felt the same with F4 yesterday.
But I like that they got Koepp tagging along, who had a hand in writing the OG flicks. Gareth is someone who I can rely on to have crazy visuals, but leaves a lot to be desired when he’s writing his own stuff.
It's one of those things where I was lamenting in another thread about how the top 15 (maybe more) highest-grossing movies of 2024 were all franchise films. I was really hoping to see more successful original films. Yet, there I'll be, front and center for JW: Rebirth on opening weekend, not to mention Fantastic Four, Superman, M3gan, and the rest. So, I guess I'm part of the problem too.We desperately need new franchisess. still getting sequesls to movies from the late 70s-mid 90s
This looks like the Skull Island portion of 2005 King Kong
We swapping pawgs![]()
We’re getting sequels to new franchises these days, too. M3GAN and Nobody come to mind. These Jurassic flicks make too much money for Hollywood to ditch ‘em though. Dominion, as shyt as it was, still pulled in a billion lol.We desperately need new franchisess. still getting sequesls to movies from the late 70s-mid 90s
David Robert Mitchell (‘It Follows’) has a new movie coming out that’s rumored to tackle something similar to this and involve dino fukkery. Not Jurassic, but it may scratch your itch. They’ve been hella cryptic on the plot details for it.fukk all that shyt,,, I want to see post apocalyptic worlds and people/dinos. that would be something new for meany other story is almost the same imo
