I went to an event at USC recently and Dolores Huerta showed up (She marched with Cesar Chavez) and all she could talk about was gays and lesbians - these old civil rights sell outs are basically trained seals for cac liberal elite causes - their job is to herd in the ghetto votes for a pat on the head and some scraps from the table. Al Sharpton is going to say whatever he is trained to say.

A lot of illegal immigrants are here because U.S. intervention in their home countries made those countries extremely unstable or dangerous...

...which has nothing to do with Marcus Garvey or the back-to-Africa movement since it was a movement for people who were ripped away from their homes wanting to go back home. Two different situations, no need for Sharpton to try and score cheap political points conflating the two.

I argue that African countries have some responsibility to re-patriate any black Americans who want it, tbh. But that's a different issue altogether. Black Americans have a special situation.
