The crazy thing is the reviews have all said that it's been impartial but "boring." Cats always find something to complain about.

They got a good special on "Fault Lines" show on Baltimore. If you're a fan of the Wire, they had the co-creator of the Wire Ed Burns on there. It should re air.

Very Goood channel. I find myself leaning towards catching news from there. Unbiased too. They had a fault lines show on Murders in the Chi

No doubt. They are biased, but its a bias that isn't on main stream news. Plus, Qatar has unlimited cash it seems and Al Jazeera is all about our reporting the competition. They opening like 10 bureaus, hiring tons of people... They are going in
Every review I've read said they aren't bias at all

Al Jazeera is biased... watch it long enough and you'll see. It's a bias that isn't on the main news channels. They are heavily slanted towards the Global South instead of North and they are more biased towards people instead of institutions of power... be it corporations, some govts, etc

Seeing as how we're members of "the people" it's not a bias I mind.

Exactly the same with Russia Today although RT is alot more shameless bordering on pure propaganda. They had a field day during occupy wallstreet and now with the NSA scandal trying to stir dissension in the American public.

Yeah, RT has no shame in it. Al Jazeera does a good job disguising it... much more professional

so far, the channel has been pretty good. I normally catch America Tonight and Consider This... they spend a lot of time on each story they highlight.

And the news hours they use reports from Al Jazeera English the good majority of the time sprinkled in with the domestic stuff.

Inside Story and The Stream are in the same formats as the AJE counterparts. Fault Lines is on both networks. And I saw they broadcast the AJE from Doha during the mornings and afternoons... and even late at night. So they always have live reports some way whether its from NYC or Doha.

Yeah, I guess the CNN personalities drew up red flags for me but I was totally wrong on this I'm watching this just as much as I did AJE. The Stream fell off tho, I'm sayin they ain't even have to boot all the Current TV programs. I can't remember if they brought Witness on AJA, that was some of the most fiya shyt ever.
