I love Al, yet he or somebody has to do a better job at pushing Showtime to actually promote a guy like Errol Spence.

When was the last time they did a Showtime All Access on Spence and why is my man stuck at 300 K IG followers.

A fighter like that should be at a 1 million.

The new deal with Showtime/FOX don't mean shyt to me if they still going to do things the way they been doing and not improve.

All these borderline boxing star ass nikkas need to be fighting at least 3x a year and there should always be some type of 2nd tier level guy on the undercard that is being built up as an attractive opponent for the future. None of these one and done fights that don't have any potential spinoffs or cause progress in the division.

Plus these fukk nikkas keep throwing all these got damn fights at Barclays like the rest of the country don't exist.

That Berto/Alexander card was a fukking disgrace. Fox don't need shyt like that. Quillin vs Love was horrible to watch. Love is mentally done and shouldn't be televised. What made it worse is that Alexander has been jobbed on the cards for a 2nd time in a row and now he loses his appeal as an opponent for the 1st tier cats like Spence. Its like these nikkas keep shooting themselves in the foot.

With all this money that Haymon and these nikkas keep throwing around, they were prolly better off just making a new PBC boxing network channel for tv.

Showtime and Premier Boxing Champions strike three-year deal
Per a press released just issued by Showtime, the network has just formally entered into a three-year agreement with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions which ensures that their partnership will continue for at least a while longer.

The deal revolves around a monthly series of events which will be presented by PBC and air live on Showtime. The network believes the move will guarantee their access to the best talent on the planet for their televised events, considering PBC’s deep roster of fighters. Additionally the agreement calls for PBC to provide content for a significant expansion of live boxing programming starting in 2019.

Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza offered these thoughts on the new deal:

“Over the past seven-plus years, SHOWTIME has developed the most comprehensive slate of boxing programming in the world,” said Espinoza. “We have consistently been recognized for making the most significant contributions to the sport of boxing, both financially and editorially. Building off our industry-leading live event schedule, this long-term deal with Premier Boxing Champions ensures that SHOWTIME will remain the No. 1 destination for the world’s greatest fighters and their passionate and diverse fans.”

Showtime has more or less served as the de facto home for PBC in recent years, airing most of PBC’s biggest fights, and now with a formalized agreement between the companies we can expect more of the same.

I dont really care Haymon helping finances outside the ring.. the fans who watch are getting shafted by uninteresting fights.. I need Haymon to stop giving us these uninteresting fights. Same with Arum and whoever.. shyt sucks.

Hate Don King, but that motherfuhker was the GOAT at getting the best fighters in that ring.

Fighters have to want to face the best. Wilder stepped up and fought Ortiz, Spence went to the UK to fight Brook, Mickey is going up another division.

When both fighters want it big fights will happen. There hasn't been a lot of match ups better than these this year. Haymon got these done.

Dude did 6 million viewers when he fought on CBS, Went to the UK and beat Brook, and just sold over 12,600 tickets at the Ford Center. IG ain't the best measuring stick (a lot of boxing fans are older and don't even use it). Dude does big crowds when I see him in Brooklyn too.
