He is rumored to have signed a deal with Fox since the UFC went to ESPN. Also rumored to be signing Rigo next. Dude has over like a hundred fighters he advises so if he can put on more cards as a result and Showtime still get some big fights. It's a win win for everyone involved. They have a lot of young up and coming fighters that need to fight so this is great.

I love Al, yet he or somebody has to do a better job at pushing Showtime to actually promote a guy like Errol Spence.

When was the last time they did a Showtime All Access on Spence and why is my man stuck at 300 K IG followers.

A fighter like that should be at a 1 million.

I hope this works out cuz Oscar, Uncle Bob, Kathy Duva, etc., were all licking their chops praying for PBC's failure. Eddie Hearn has been eyeing it all from across the pond.

Those investors put like $400 mil supposedly into PBC and it seemed like they just fizzled out. Gotta remember though the investment game rarely flips a huge return immediately. Time will tell, but I hope this works out.

you can blame.Stephen.Espinoza for that...

I agree Showtime can do better....Stephen has been blessed.to have access to Haymon's top tier boxers and should be blowing up the spot like HBO did during the 80s and 90s

The irony is Al Haymon got his start in boxing via HBO.and his relationship with former Time Warner/HBO parent company CEO Richard Parsons where he transitioned Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather into the brand known as Money Mayweather

The PBC guys aren't contractually signed to Showtime, Haymon should be doing this himself with the PBC brand on Youtube and social media. You got tons of "boxing new media" folks out here on Youtube, hire someone to do All Access features and "camp life" style videos on the fighters leading up to fights to make their presence bigger.

I don't believe any of these power players in boxing are good guys. If you are a good guy you can't last in boxing promotion, period. Not even after the mob is pretty much out of it (seems like).

Therefor I won't cape for any of these dudes, not Haymon, not Arum, not Hearn, not Oscar

But I also doN't think that these guys are evil. They are just "promoters" (yeah Haymon is officially not but he decides about stuff there) who do dirty stuff too and great stuff too, sometimes they are good for boxing sometimes they are annoying and hinder the sport. As far as I'm concerned neither one is a lot better than the other as a person there are just promoters who are better at their jobs than the others.
So I doN't buy these narratives abut x being the good guy, white knight of boxing and y being the bad guy who hurts the sport. In fact I find it pathetic how many network/promoter fans are in boxing community who decide who they like or who they don't like based on which channel the fighter appears or which promoter the fighter is with.

among the many things i said about PBC the one thing ive mentioned is they don't seem to have a lot of boxing people within the brand. that has led to a trickle down of issues like of course the matchmaking which ive harped about and fighter management

Dude doesn't post about anything in here besides Haymon, doubt he's actually a boxing fan just a fan of Haymon

Growing up in the 80s and the early 90s

Three things I was passionate about:

Hip Hop....Rub a Dub Reggae....and Boxing

Dude ill be 43 in September...

I saw my first professional bout featuring Buddy Mcgirt vs Pernell Whitaker in 1993 at the Garden in NYC.....Mcgirt.trained my uncle.for his first title bout ...got.love.for dat dude as a respected fighter and friend of my family ....one of many boxers from that era who passed interacted with my fam

I couldn't help but be a fan due to my father dragging me and my two brothers to every sparring match he was in within the tri state along with my uncle a former.golden gloves champion and professional title holder who influenced me.to obtain my MBA in college and pursue business management .....

Here explains my fascination with Mr Haymon ....it was thru aLMcgirt like a Decade later that I met Sam Watson.from Haymon Enterprise.when my uncle.was.fighting on HBO during an undercard bout in Atlantic.city

I got to see the "brand" that was revolutionizing Prizefighting as well as the Urban Music touring business

I was highly impressed and pursued ventures myself as one of the first to jumpstart the "New Media" wave on Boxing several years ago with a YouTube channel and.a..podcast

And SAM showed.love by doing a call in interview for me...

So I do.feel in debt to the Haymon brand

Further stimulated my interest even as a father

As of now my son and my nephew are in a boxing.camp that i fund

Its a program within its 4th year to help stimulate interest in boxing here in the "deep south" and develop and nurture young talent with my business partner in Florida...

So once I retire in a few more years from my current field ...

I can dedicate myself full time to this prizefighting business

So yes grasshopper i been a True fan of the sweet science but I'm also a passionate businessman as well....

And I'm a Say this in closing

Their are MANY OPPORTUNITIES in the business of boxing and media for YOU and others to pursue $$$

I'm a living example....

You guys have so.much great content on this Message board.....you would be a fool not to capitalize on it

Shout out Ring Gang Radio :salute:

This is.PRIZEFIGHTING.FOR.CHRIST SAKES...

turn your passion as a FAN into.REVENUE

time is money....

Same time and money u invest into DAZN...ESPN APP...SHOWTIME.HBO can be used as an investment for your own PLATFORM

but you gotta be willing to PAY not PLAY

Cause the game is to be SOLD not TOLD
:sas2:
