It's just like someone saying the only people who can have Amazon stock are already rich, seeing how its trading at $1,734.78 a share as I type this...

But October 1, 2001 it was trading at $5.91 a share. So if you would've invested, $11,820 on that date buying a mere 2000 shares, it would be worth over $3.46 million today.

Guapcoin? $GUAP Coin – Tokenize Black Spending

The original purpose of cryptocoin was not to use as a stock, but as an actual currency. It seems that idea is long gone. :francis:

Currency is traded the same way via forex. The only difference is bitcoin was cool, until the adults started using it and now it's just like everything else.

comparing Amazon stock to a crypto currency is a stretch my nikka. Theres something tangible behind amazon stock and they pay you a dividend. There's no value in crypto other than hoping somebody else takes it off your hands at a higher price.

this what im talking about. its not entirely out the question yet. bitcoin had a long run used as a currency before the investment rush

the investment rush is what legitimized it :usure:.. Before that, it was just another bubble, with fraud all over the place.

Now it's a legit currency you can use to buy shyt or to simply stash dollars short term.

When you buy a stock you hope that when it's time to sell, its worth more than what you paid for (unless you're shorting a stock at which point you hope the opposite occurs).

A stock isn't a tangible asset. A stock is only worth what the market dictates. Amazon could report record profits next quarter, but if the right investors decide to dumb the right amount of stock into the market, the value will plummet.

The dollar in your pocket isn't backed by anything, but it has value because??????

But I wasn't making a literal comparison. I was contrasting the similarities of a business model that was cheap to buy into at the time of inception, and grew over time to where only wealthy individuals can now invest.
