WRESTLING / NEWSAJ Styles Wants His Match With Nakamura in WWE To Be Big


According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AJ Styles was on the Edge & Christian podcast recently and spoke about facing Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE. Styles said he wanted to make a rematch with Nakamura in the US to be really big, and said that he told Vince McMahon how important it was that his next match with Nakamura is not just a match on a PPV show. Styles also explained that he wants a long-term build, and wants it stretched out and teased as long as possible. Styles wants to give the fans as big a match as possible when the time comes. He also explained that the spot in the Money in the Bank match (which got a great response from the crowd) was something Styles said he pushed to be in the match, looking at it as step one of the build.

WWE Logic: Random match at Tribute To The Troops that lasts only 8 minutes long and ends in DQ after AJ Styles turns heel again for some stupid reason

Just for AJ acting too big for his britches Vince is gonna have them do this match on Smackdown for the next 5 weeks and only give AJ and Shinsuke 3 minutes of TV time for each match that will end with Baron Corbin interfering in all of the matches.
