Bet they flung the bag at him. Especially once they realized that he could go over to AEW for the Bullet Club nonsense they're clearly going to bring over and likely get paid well for fewer dates and getting to settle not too far a drive from Georgia

Bet you they also pay Balor well and likely start booking him better. There's money to be made in shirts if nothing else with any originals back with the Bullet Club, and I'm sure they tryna avoid any of that. Wouldn't shock me if Balor ends up with the US title as they move Priest to other stuff and also try and tempt mans not to go back to being Fergal Devitt.

That being said... Devitt/Page would be an interesting match.

On a related note, I'm very disappointed in how the gallows and Anderson reunion went. That shyt was so dope at first, especially with the potential of Balor linking up...but shyt just fizzled over and over, then they gave too much creative leash to gallows and Anderson with that really fukking lame and tired NERRRRD shyt.

I expected those two and aj to be a force, and have Balor be a babyface to take them down and maybe split the tag team...terrible execution for gallows and Anderson across the board.

AJ Styles reportedly signed a multi-million dollar contract with WWE.

It was recently reported that Styles signed a new multi-year contract with WWE. In an update, Fightful Select reports that Styles landed more than $3 million per year when all was said and done.

Styles also had some additional bus travel accommodations paid for by WWE with this new contract.

A WWE source noted that Styles “deserved every penny” and that he would “easily make that back for the company.”

Styles’ original WWE contract was set to expire in the spring/summer and would have had him hit free agency for the first time since leaving NJPW before he signed with WWE in January 2016. WWE officials expected Styles to have plenty of suitors, and word is that as was the case with some other big names in the company, WWE wanted to get AJ’s deal extended before he could even hit free agency and talk to any other promotions.

Styles is said to be very happy in WWE, and has mentioned in multiple interviews how he’d like to work for WWE when his in-ring career is over. He recently spoke with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman last month about signing a new deal with WWE.

“It was easy. I want to be here, this is the place for me,” AJ said. “If they let me I will retire here, I hope to work in WWE in some capacity when I retire. I enjoy what I do.”

Styles also talked to Hausman about what he would like to do after his in-ring career, admitting that a role similar to that of WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels would be great.

“I would love to have that opportunity. I love to see people be successful, and having a hand in that to me, it would probably be the best thing I could do in my career. But, I don’t that I’ll get that opportunity, I am just saying,” he said

Styles is rumored to face WWE Hall of Famer Edge at WrestleMania 38, but nothing is official as of this writing.

Stay tuned for more.

He misses his friends Luke & Karl, but not enough to take a pay cut and go somewhere else:russ:. Not surprised that he got a new contract because AJ became popular and financially successful without ever stepping foot in the WWE prior to 2016. It seems like he's going to transition into a coaching role in NXT when he retires.

Sorry for the double post but i just thought... Here Styles is he got a lot of his closest friends in other places and he's all ... nah let me get this bag.

Adam Cole left NXT/WWE to go play video games with his boys :hhh:

Cole could of easily been in Samuel Castro’s position in the mid card scene. :smh:
