Yeah well, Punk is a bit of a bytch. Bryan being overly reckless with his body was a talking point many years before he made it to WWE. shyt in like 2004 people were wondering if he was over doing it and how long he'd last. Doing hour long matches with a dislocated shoulder, doing brutal matches with detached retinas, the headbutts, etc. The writing was on the wall for Bryan's longevity probably 6 years before he even made it to WWE. A dummy who never should of mace it as far he did. No one ever thought Danielson would be this big..so it's no surprise to see keyboard warriors talking huff about a guy who worked a physical style. Foley is a dummy. Danielson was just unlucky.
There's certainly a line. Foley and Bryan's bumps were dumb, but also brought them to the top of their industry and made them a lot of money. But that's also because they had more to offer than big bumps or a hard hitting style. Compare them to random IWA Deep South/CZW guys killing themselves for $40 with zero chance of moving up in their careers.
