AJ Lee responds to CM Punk chants on WWE RAW

AJ Lee is one of the more popular superstars in WWE right now. Unfortunately, when she’s in the ring anymore these days, the attention isn’t always on her as it generally shifts toward her husband, CM Punk, who walked out on the company this past January.
Generally whenever AJ is getting ready to go to work, she gets bombarded by chants for her husband. You have to wonder how she feels about that, but thanks to the guys over at CageSideSeats, we’ve found out that she actually does acknowledge the chants when she’s in the ring, albeit in a subtle manner.
It was brought to their attention that while the fans were chanting for Punk this past Monday night on RAW in Miami, AJ looked directly into the camera, as if looking right at either her husband or the fans, and just shrugged.
First, the chants start.
Then, as they get louder, the shrug comes, directly into the camera.
Of course, when she returned to work a few weeks ago after some time off after WrestleMania, she had to know that these were coming, so it’s not like she wasn’t prepared for this type of response.
Whether or not this will be her way with dealing with it going forward remains to be seen, but after seeing these, you’re no doubt going to start looking a little closer at AJ’s body language when she’s out there performing.
