Paige attacks AJ on Raw
AJ and Paige had what some fans felt was just an average match at Battleground. This was not expected, as the heat between the two Divas had been simmering since AJ returned to the company back on June 30.

But when AJ regained the Divas Championship on that night, something very surprising happened.

Instead of turning heel on AJ, Paige became her friend. The two began tagging together on WWE programming and while many fans felt it was a ruse, all seemed to be well between them. AJ was the new champion and Paige was her best friend despite losing the belt to her.

Logic seemed to have been cast aside but fans surely knew what was to come.

And even though Battleground saw AJ retain the title, the following Monday Night Raw finally saw Paige snap. The former Divas champion turned on her supposed best friend, thus continuing their feud. Now it's up to WWE creative to keep Paige's momentum going and book another match with her and AJ.

That match needs to take place at SummerSlam, which will provide the best possible platform for a Divas title defense that fans can really sink their teeth into. And with any luck, these two will have a much better match than what fans witnessed at Battleground.

The Divas Championship has taken somewhat of a backseat to the other drama from the women's division in recent months. This storyline has the potential to change all of that.

And SummerSlam is the best stage for it to happen. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...al&utm_campaign=br_wwe&utm_source=twitter.com
