Look who was at the NXT tapings tonight. It’s AJ defending her Divas Championship in a match against Bayley, defeating her to retain the title.


This kinda counts as a spoiler, basically telling us that AJ will most likely retain at MITB.


But check THIS nugget of information out: apparently, the episode in question will air on August 21st. If you’re looking at your calenders right, that’s a full THREE DAYS AFTER SummerSlam.


That means (if it goes down this way) AJ will hold on to her Divas Championship at the very least past SummerSlam.

Nope, it doesn't. It simply tells us, as of right now, CT plans to have her stay Championesse over Summer Slam,
BUT Cesaro lost his US Title before the airing of an NXT episode in which he retained it against some development talent
and they just had "This match was taped when Cesaro was still US Champion" written on screen.

But to be honest, AJ has a higher level so to speak at this point than Cesaro did at that point, when it comes to them pushing that person to the moon and beyond. AJ is kinda more of a priority (most popular Diva in years, most well recognized face of the division) than Cesaro is (No disrespect intended to Cesaro when I say that), so I think it would behoove them to not have her first ever title reign end after a month.
