Mefia gotta chill with "the next X" labels bc it sets young players up to fail. Thirsty ass social media, AAU coaches and media want to be "first" to call it, but then turn their back if dude doesn't live up to the hype.

Also, guys like Kobe, Mike, Magic, Bron, Shaq, etc are one of one. We are more likely to see the first XYZ than a "next" KD, for example.

But that's why we like it, we don't ever actually want them to pan out. What fun is that? As long as somebody hypes him up we will get to do our favorite Internet past time "y'all said he was supposed to be generational" it's time to have a conversation

Reminds me of Bobby Portis. Thats not a bad thing. Solid role player who can go off from time to time. He doesnt move like he’s goong to be elite at the next level.
