Ain't no online offseason bihh : A NBA 2k16 Coli tournament proposal (poll added)

As I had never played in an online league for more than 1 season, this doesn't bother me...I'm pleased with the offline customization (because I like to do retro seasons) and a lot of my non-coli friends are pleased as long as the servers work for OA.

However, this does disappoint me for everyone that is used to multiple seasons/off-season tools. Seems illogical not to include it. My coli brehs seem broken w/ this

I'm down for whichever we do, tournament or single seasons.

I'll speak for the og 2k Coli league crew and tell you none of you get why we are so broken by this , cuz only we had the pleasure of indulging in that fukkery.

However after taking a couple days to cool down I realized it's gonna be easier to run a league now knowing we don't have worry about the season 3 offseason glitch....having to make sure to have an admin online when the finals finished so the league wouldn't glitch().....playoff series glitching out( I know this will still happen btw).

We can run the league in a 2-3 season window and re draft after, allowing us to keep our teams fresh. Can also re draft after updates made during the season and shyt. It'll still be as fukkery filled

i dont really see the point of keeping a team for 3 seasons with no free agency, progressions, or draft

if i have free time i might even be interested in playing in a 2nd league where people use standard teams, but you have the option to pick a legend team instead of a current existing team

I'm thinking about making that second league that league where we can use legend teams.

I'm def down with redrafting after 2 seasons it'll keep it fresh, one and done is stupid just because some of us might actually enjoy running with the team we draft

problem is there is no light at the end of the tunnel for people who don't have top 10-15 picks

in a regular franchise you might get the 20th pick and you don't mind playing with your rookies because you're thinking "man, wiggins is gonna progress by like 5 points this offseason, he's gonna kill next year " there's no progression now so a guy like wiggins isn't as appealing.

the team that picks 25th and has to use their 1st round pick on pau gasol doesn't wanna keep that team for 2 years

I feel you, if we add the legends and it's known from rip to draft smart I don't see why we couldn't run 2 seasons with the same squad.
