baseballs 1 game playoff is stupid, why not just take the best 12 records (they play 162 games so you cant cry about SOS) and do the playoffs that way. the teams with the top 4 records get first round BYE's and you reseed the second round.

Round 1 - best of 5
Round 2 - best of 7
Round 3 - best of 7
Round 4 - best of 7.

So you would have this
